Are my images uploaded?
No. Decoding, resizing and export happen on this device. The tool does not upload your image.
Why does PNG ignore the quality slider?
The browser PNG encoder is lossless. Use JPEG or WebP when you want a quality-versus-size adjustment.
Will a transparent image stay transparent?
PNG and WebP can preserve transparent pixels. JPEG fills them with white.
